Dear brothers and sisters!
I am heartily greeting all the visitors of the site, which gives an opportunity to the pilgrims and to all those people who are interested in the history of the Crimean Peninsula, to get acquainted with the activities of the Pilgrimage Department of Simferopol and Crimea Eparchy and to learn about new pilgrimage routes, having been prepared recently.
Having pilgrimage travels, You will learn about the history of the Orthodoxy on this being-saved-by-God peninsula. St. Apostle Andrew the “First-called” used to preach here, Roman bishop Clement was exiled here and died with the death of a martyr, from the ancient Chersonese St. Equal-to-the-Apls Grand Prince Vladimir brought to Rus the light of the Orthodoxy.
Nowadays with God’s help people are restoring ruined or blasted temples, are reviving ancient monasteries. Again the bells are ringing in the sacred corners of Crimea. And again people are reaching for spirituality. May on this way there wait for You the spiritual joy and cognition of the Truth, which God has brought into this world and with which the orthodox sacred place of Crimea are abundantly filled.
